How do I best design an itinerary?

We like to start with a standard 9 day format, 7 overnights at the
destination, so as to make it worth flying such a long way
We try to avoid single overnights in any place, unless followed by an
overnight ferry, in order to give the trip a more relaxed pace

We fit in three concerts, one every other day, so to be able to perform and
duly rehearse

We mix cultural visits and fun activities because we want the participants to
stay involved
We make sure that the food is local and genuine, as this is certainly part of
the experience.

Then, we can set ourselves to molding the trip. Perhaps add one The Blue Lagoon….
night or two, or more. Or maybe shorten the week by a day, if

dates do not suit. We add a concert, or an impromptu/informal
performance, or an exchange with local musicians, or a master
class with a maestro. Or a leisure day sailing to the Blue Lagoon off
the Dalmatian coast, if not to the Blue Grotto in Capri.
