Yep, Italy is not a place especially
renowned for its untamed wilds. And yet
the country features a network of 26
National Parks, covering over 6,000 sq
miles or 6% of the territory. Whether it be
in Piedmont, or in the Alpine regions, in
Tuscany, Sicily, Sardinia or Puglia, there
are countless districts of pristine
mountains and gasp-inducing canyons
to enjoy. Some, as in the Cinqueterre or
on the Amalfi Coast, right by the
Mediterranean shore. The beauty of
trekking in Italy is the combination of
nature, art, history and food that can be
found pretty much anywhere from North
to South. An hour drive outside of Rome,
Naples, Milan, Venice, Florence or Turin
you’ll have the opportunity to hike. A
great way to build your team’s sense of
achievement.
