The Catacombs
If you are interested in exploring more of our common heritage, perhaps you would be interested in a visit to the
Catacombs, an endless underground world right by the edge of the urban territory of Imperial Rome. Hundreds of miles
of tunnels dug by the Christians in the first three centuries AD to hide from the persecutions and avoid ending in the
Coliseum facing lions and tigers with bare hands. A couple of hours of full immersion in early Christianity will reveal a
piece of our ancesters’ lives.
