Treasures of the Vatican

Christian Rome starts here, on the right bank of the
river Tiber, on the Vatican hill where the early
followers of Jesus built their first tiny church.
Throughout the centuries that initial wooden shack
grew into one of the most imposing buildings in the
world, and into an immense treasure chest.
Thousands of masterpieces of Western art are
displayed inside St Peter’s Cathedral and within the
Vatican Museums. We’ll start with a visit of the
enchanting Sistine Chapel and continue through
breathtaking displays, in and out of hundreds of
rooms. And you can do this after hours too: an entire
world of ancient art just for your self !!
