‘Tis the season to give back!

I just returned from a trip to LA for the 19th Annual SITE Southern California Holiday Event and Charity Auction. Held at the Beverly Hills Hilton (hello, Golden Globes!), the black tie event was glitzy, glamorous, and grandiose, as any function in Hollywood should be. I fulfilled my lifelong dream of doing a step and repeat on the red carpet, and of course, it was great fun to connect with others in the SITE community.

But most importantly, we were able to raise funds for two amazing local charities: The Rock Club, which focuses on helping Veterans better cope with re-entry through music rehabilitation, and Donovan’s Smile, a support group for pediatric cancer patients in Southern California. I had the pleasure of volunteering with my colleague, Michael Tovee from Orchestrate USA, and it was amazing to learn more about all that they do and to help support their endeavors.

It was a quick trip (especially coming from Rome) but it’s always worth seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Post a note below if you attended the event and let us know how it was for you.
